Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or are friends traveling together looking for a safe and fun adventure, the layout of this house having bedrooms at either end of the large open living / kitchen area is perfect! The furniture, beds & linens all selected with comfort in mind, and the ocean and jungle views are simply stunning from every room in the house! Located a mile to the beach to the front, and to the back several acres of hiking with rewarding views of the Pacific Ocean – where you’ll see plenty of monkeys! The ocean breezes are perfect for that siesta in the hammock or just lounging by the pool. Having easy access to the beach, shopping, groceries, zip line tours, fishing - the list is long for activities, all within 20 minutes of Casa Verde. We urge to you read our reviews where the guests outline their favorite activities - this is truly a unique location in that it’s so easily accessible, but you feel like you’re in your own private resort. The owners are a couple houses away so should you need anything at all, there is always someone to help with directions or questions & help with booking all your tours.

Summary: We stayed in Kelie's Casa Verde for a few days on a couples' trip to Costa Rica. This was a fantastic spot. The home was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed --- from a blender for fresh fruit smoothies to rain ponchos to borrow for a hike through the jungle. We loved the patio with the pool and outdoor grill. The view is spectacular and pictures do not do it justice. Kelie is an excellent host and was quick and responsive to our questions. She also helped us set up a guided tour through the national park in Manuel Antonio. She is well-versed in the area and all of the restaurants she recommended were A. We had a wonderful time and can't wait for our next opportunity to visit!

Summary: I can truly say, this was our very best vacation! The house & property was amazing, having everything we needed. A big part of the reason was Kelie. She goes above & beyond for her guests, something we have not experienced in our many VRBO stays. The house is comfortable (beds included) with a lot of space for families. The patio views are amazing with such a variety of birds to see. We didn't use the pool because our days were full of hiking (so much to discover), white water rafting( a must!) and a visit to Tortuga Isle via Catamaran (snorkeling, banana boat & hiking), Manuel Antonio National Park & the local beaches. Take advantage of Kelie's suggestions for restaurants & places to visit during your stay & you CANNOT go wrong. Simply the best!

Summary: We had an incredible stay at this mountain retreat with a stunning ocean view! The house was impeccably clean, extremely comfortable, and perfectly located in a central spot to our activities and restaurants. It had all the amenities our family needed, making it feel like a home away from home.Kelie was exceptionally knowledgeable and provided us with a plethora of fantastic ideas for activities. Every single one of her suggestions was spot on and made our trip even more memorable. We are definitely planning to return to this amazing place. Highly recommend!

Summary: Great 2 bedroom/2 bathroom property nestled up in the hills away from everyone. Pool.is perfect. See macaws, toucans and hummingbirds everyday. Highly recommend the host, Kellie. Very attentive.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Verde (2 couples). The breathtaking scenery is a perfect backdrop for the toucans and scarlet macaws who visited the property every day. It was so relaxing to come home to this peaceful paradise after a busy day of adventures. Kelie is a great host, who takes care of her guests with personal and enthusiastic care! She recommended several excursions, beaches to visit and restaurants to patronize. We were thrilled with our Jaco adventure at Catarata Las Monas. The hike was broken up with refreshing swims in the waterfalls! David and Rafael shared their knowledge and love of the rainforest and Costa Rica. It was well worth the time to go to the Farmers Market for fresh fruit, veggies and meat. A superb ending to our stay was the sushi dinner prepared for us at Casa Verde by chef Rudy! Summary: We travel a lot and this was the best experience I have ever had. The property owner is on the property but not so close that you don't have privacy. She went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. She helped with the car service, rental car recommendation, discounts on excursion and the inside scoop on the best places to go. The private pool on the property was an amazing place to hang out in the heat of the day and just relax. Fresh eggs, fruit and coffee were waiting for us after a long journey. I can't recommend this place enough!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in Costa Rica. The home was perfect for our family of 4 (two teenagers). The photos didn't do the view from the backyard justice. Beautiful sunrises every day. Our daughter loved reading in the hammock and we all enjoyed a soak in the pool. The bedrooms were comfortable. Air conditioning throughout. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the fresh eggs from Kelie and the pineapple was better than Hawaii. The best part was the help and coordination from Kelie. She ensured we had info on any of the activities we wanted to do. She had a contact for our son to surf, a guide for the Manuel Antonio National Park (she let us know we needed to book in advance). She had suggestions for where to stop for groceries, her favorite hikes. She gave us recommendations for restaurants. She is kind and personable and a great communicator. We felt very safe throughout our stay and listened to her recommendations to not leave anything in the car. There are some books to read and games to play. Thanks Kelie for an amazing stay in a beautiful place!!

Summary: Kellie makes this place so comfortable for someone coming for the first time. I was supposed to come with my girlfriend and her seven year old child but did not know what to do because I had not visited before and it seemed a little bit overwhelming when I was trying to plan excursions for the whole family to do. However, she had great recommendations on what to do and how to get around and gave me wisdom even once I landed in San Jose and was checking up on me like we were great friends right off the bat! …and that meant a lot ! my girlfriend ended up not being able to make her flight and I ended up staying by myself and Kelly moved me into the Kaseeta to help me save money, which she did not have to do. If somebody only has one other person, I would highly recommend staying at the Kaseeta. It is amazing! The view is six stars , and everything is boutique and artistic. I also got a chance to stay in the bigger house, which was great too. You’re not losing anything, I just like the Kaseeta better for one or two people. you feel very secure because there’s a double gate just to get in, it’s quiet and Kelie checks in in the morning and during the day to see if you’re having a good time which makes you feel right at home. I’m normally a surf rat and I save money and just stay for cheap in hostels but after staying at Kelly’s place, I’ll definitely want to come back and bring friends, a girlfriend or just myself . voice to text. Summary: We had the best experience yet using a Vrbo staying at this property! Pictures and descriptions can't do a place like this justice. The views are stunning! We felt so at home and relaxed during our stay and honestly looked forward to getting back in after our days of venturing out to relax in the warm pool and take in the sites and sounds of nature. It made our vacation even better staying here. The house was immaculate in cleanliness. Every accommodation you can think of is here. The fruit provided was so fresh and ripe too that was provided! Kelie is always available with suggestions for activities, advice and even lent me her camera as I forgot the battery to mine. I can't thank her enough for the kindness and generosity shown to us during our stay. THANK YOU!!
